Farewell Mr Kamarulzaman!

Recently I attended a retirement party for Haji Kamarulzaman Abdul Rahman, the headmaster of SK New Zealand. He is a kind man, an excellent headmaster, and a special friend to me. He will be much missed by all the staff and the children of SK New Zealand, but we wish him a fine retirement and the best of luck in all his future endeavours!

Brighton Kids English Club IV

Brighton Kids English Club IV was a great success! Although there were fewer students this time, the fun was not diminished! We practiced greetings and other basics for revision, played a little UNO, learned parts of the body, made chalk drawings for vocabulary practice, sang the Head Shoulders Knees and Toes song, and much much more! Thanks to everyone who came, and we hope to see many more next month!

Hari Raya festivities at Felda Bukit Tajau

I and my wife Ai-chan were invited to take part in the festivities at Bukit Tajau on Thursday afternoon. It was an incredible experience. There were hundreds of smiling faces, lots of great food, karaoke, a live band, and much more! Everyone was very excited, and I got to meet a lot of my students' mothers and fathers. We took lots of photos, and here are the ones I managed to bring home. Enjoy! -Marshall Peck (ELC Maran)

Bukit Tajau live band rocks!

Excellent food (I was very excited)

The lucky birthday girl shared her lovely cake with us!

The children's focus on Mr Marshall could not be diverted by the band.
