Cross Country & Kinesthetic English Game Day @ SK Jengka 6

Like most schools at this time, SK Jengka 6 recently had their Cross Country Competition.

Unlike most other Cross Country Competitions, SK Jengka 6 invited TELL2 Mentors Sarah Higgs and Tom James to host some Kinesthetic English Games at the event.

TELL2 Teachers Naziha Binti Awant Mahat, Norhayatunnupus Binti Mohd Sam and Mohd Amin Bin Abd Rahman assisted in the schools athletic events and the Kinesthetic English Games.

The top runners received their prizes at the awards ceremony and everyone was a top "funner' in English during the games portion.

We can all use more kinesthetic activities in our lessons, especially when the topics are reviewing prior knowledge.  Using kinesthetic games can improve student retention, create a memorable class and be fun for the teacher.  Watch this video for instructions on how one kinesthetic game that can be used in any lesson  on numbers and telling time.
